The tourism opportunities of Azerbaijan were promoted in the Gulf countries with the participation of 10 local tourism industry representatives organized by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board.

On February 27 - March 2, a series of events were held in the cities of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, Muscat in Oman, Doha in Qatar, and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

More than 200 tourism industry representatives of those countries participated in the events and they were introduced to tourism products, travel packages, and conditions of travel to the country offered in Azerbaijan.

B2B meetings were held between the tourism industry members of Azerbaijan and the industry representatives of the host countries during which the concerned questions were answered.

The presentation event held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was supported by "FlyNas", and the events held in Doha and Dubai were supported by "FlyDubai".

It should be noted that in 2022, the number of people who visited Azerbaijan from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and the UAE was 159,254, which is 11.5% of the foreigners who visited our country in the same year.
